It takes a year for the Earth to circulate around the Sun. This is called Solar Year.
The solar year is divided in four quaters: the winter and summer solstices, as well as the equinoxes of spring and autumn. These turning points have been significant in different cultures all over the world. They affect our lives because everything that happens in nature, happens in us.
Our ancestors were living agricultural based life were connected in the cycle of the nature in order to survive.
Let us celebrate together
The celebrations of the solar year are always held in Wäinölä, Nuuksio, on Sundays from 3 pm to 6 pm before or after that official date in question. The Wäinölä log cabin can accommodate 40 people and part of the program takes place outdoors, weather permitting.
At Otalammi in Vihti, where Wäinölä is located, there is no public transport. Bus 345 comes 10km away and in connection with ticket purchase it is also possible to buy transport from the stop. We will do a poll on Facebook before the party about carpools.
The ticket price includes the presentation and catering.
WINTER SOLSTICE
Year 2021 Winter Solstice is on December 22nd – We will be celebrating on the Sunday December 19th.
Winter solstice celebration is a community celebration, that gives us the opportunity to feel and emerge with the experience through music, sound, movement and nature.
Artists for the celebration will be musicians Vaskilintu aka Magdaleena Mölsä and Mikko Heikinpoika.
SPRING EQUINOX
Year 2022 Spring Equinox is on Sunday March 20th – we will be celebrating the same day.
SUMMER SOLSTICE
Year 2022 Summer Solstice is on June 21st – we will be celebrating on Sunday 19th of June.
AUTUMN EQUINOX
Year 2022 Autumn Equinox is on September 23rd – We will be celebrating on the September 25th.

JÄRJESTÄ AURINKOVUOSI-JUHLA
Olemme suunnitelleet neljä aurinkovuoden-juhlaa, josta voit ottaa mallia omaan juhlaasi. Löydät täältä Aurinkovuodesta-tietoa ja ideoita juhlien toteuttamiseen – lauluja ja leikkejä sekä tarjoiluehdotuksen. Nämä kaikki luovat yhteisöllisyyttä, tuovat iloa ja turvaa.
TUMMAA TUNNELMAA
Villa Paratiisin puulämmitteinen sauna lämpiää puilla ja saunan ylälauteelle mahtuu 7 henkilöä.
Saunan seinät ovat tuppeen sahattua mäntyä ja leveät lauteet haapaa, molemmat oman metsän puista.
SAUNATILAT
Saunatiloissa on 2 suihkua, WC ja pukuhuone.
Saunasta pääsee terassin kautta sujuvasti paljuun ja laiturilta järveen uimaan, lisäksi talvella pidämme avannon auki.
