BACKGROUND OF THE FAMILY COMPANY
Satu has lived since 1994 in Nuuksio, the same year Nuuksion National Park was opened.In 2009 she graduated as a nature and wilderness guide. She is also a fysio and ridingtherapist and movement and wellbeing has always been an important part of the services.
Daughter Liina works in the company as a service developer and graphic designer and is responsible for the visual look and marketing of the company.
Spouse Anton and sons Kalle and Ville take care of maintenance and construction.
SUSTAINABILITY IN KEY PART
We make responsible choices in all our operations and we also guide our customers to do so. We have are a part of Sustainable Travel and Good Travel certified companies and we are committed to Metsähallitus principles of sustainable nature tourism.
We use renewable energy, we have a geothermal system and a 7kw solar power plant, we buy additional electricity as wind power. We save energy, recycle all waste and guide our customers. We prefer Finnish products and services in the surrounding area, our programs are based on Finnish traditions and we cherish Finnish culture.

The company’s logo features a horse, as the company’s main activity was initially equestrian therapy. The horse logo comes with a touch of folklore, as is the company’s programs.
Alongside the horse logo, a symbolic curve that respects folklore has been introduced in 2020.
NUUKSIO UPLANDS
Nuuksio is a unique area with a wide range of terrain, rich fauna and diverse flora. The Nuuksio lake plateau is an area of about 200 km², with almost 150 lakes and ponds. Nuuksio National Park covers about a quarter of this area. The Finnish Nature Center Haltia is also located in Nuuksio.
When you move around in nature, remember the rights and responsibilities of everyone and familiarize yourself with the rules of the national park.
